현재 한국에서 여성의 몸에 대한 의학적 진단을 구성하는 지식, 사실, 정책, 권력을 살펴본 다. 푸코, 캐롤 타브리스, 사라 네들턴의 관점을 적용시키고, 조합하며, 성인지의학, 여성주의적 의료, 의료접근권이라는 개념을 통해 다시 여성의 신체를 바라보려고 한다. 또한 의학기술의 발전에 의해 새롭게 제기되는 여성의 신체를 둘러싼 쟁점들에 대한 정확한 의학적 사실들을 점검해 보며, 생물학적 시민권 개념을 짚어본다. 구체적으로 집중해볼 사례들은, 낙태/피임, 자궁경부암 백신, BRCA유전자와 난소난관/유방절제술이다.
Here, this lecture will scrutinize the knowledge, facts, policies, and authorities that currently comprise the medical diagnosis of women's bodies in Korea. By applying and combining the perspectives of Foucault, Carol Tavris, and Sarah Nedlerton, and using the concepts of gender-specific medicine, feminist medical treatment, and the Right to Medical Care, we will try to relook at the woman's body. In this lecture, we will also investigate the precise medical facts of issues surrounding women's bodies that have newly emerged through the development of medical technology, and also analyze the concept of biological citizenship. Examples of our specific focus include abortion/contraception, cervical cancer vaccine, BRCA genes and ovariosalpingectomy, and tuboovariotomy/mastectomy.

연세대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 동 대학에서 전문의를 취득하였다. 현재 녹색병원 산부인과 과장으로 재직하며 연구공동체 건강과대안 운영위원, 성과재생산포럼 기획위원으로 활동하고 있다. 젠더, 소수자 인권, 성과 재생산권에 대한 관심을 가지고 진료와 활동하고 있다. 참여한 연구에는 『건강권으로서 낙태 및 피임의 권리를 다시 생각한다.(2013)』 『낙태 논쟁의 내용과 의미(2010)』『HPV(인간유두종바이러스) 백신 논의 활성화를 위하여(2016)』가 있다.
Jung-Won Yoon (Specialist, Obstetrics/Gynecology at Green Hospital, Health and Alternative Research Committee)
Jung-Won Yoon graduated from Yonsei University School of Medicine and obtained a specialist degree from the same university. Currently, she is the director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Green Hospital and is a member of the Management Committee for Research Community, Health and Alternative, and Planning and Coordination Committee for Sex and Reproduction Forum. She is an active medical practitioner with an interest in gender, minority human rights, and sexual and reproductive rights. She participated in studies such as “Rethink the right to abortion and contraception as a right to health” (2013), “Contents and meanings behind the abortion controversy” (2010), and “To activate the HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine discussion” (2016).
